Life story

" Thalia Theresa Tamayo-Quintero, 23, of Mammoth, Arizona departed this world unexpectedly on April 4, 2026. Although her time on this earth was short, Thalia's impact on those she met will be eternal.

Thalia was born January 8, 2003 in Tucson, Arizona to Elmer Tamayo and Andrea Sims. She graduated from San Manuel High School class of 2021. Thalia joined the United States Air Force March 2025. She was also working towards her bachelors degree in criminal justice.

A father is a daughter's first love, and Elmer set the bar high for any man in Thalia's life to fill. Then Thalia met Caleb, determined to exceed every expectation.

Thalia and Caleb met as kids through Thalia's cousin Javy. The two later developed crushes, but were anxious about admitting. Both families supported their relationship,
everyone could see how perfect the two of them were together. Thalia and Caleb were married December 14, 2024.

Aside from Caleb and Elmer, Thalia LOVED animals. She dreamed of one day owning an animal rescue. She leaves behind her spoiled dog Saint, and her beloved hedgehog. She loved a variety of music, cooking, working out and playing video games. Thalia will always be remembered for her curly hair, her vibrant personality, and her beautiful smile. She was so kind and soft hearted.
