"James Stopka, originally from the Czech Republic, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family. He is survived by his children, Michael Stanley Stopka of Chicago, Jenny Stopka Vigurire of Los Angeles, and their families, including grandchildren Ella Grace Stopka, Cora Elizabeth Stopka, and Brisa Elizabeth Stopka.

James grew up in the Czech Republic before immigrating to the United States, where he settled in Chicago. There, he built a life and raised his three children. Later in life, he moved to California, where he spent his final years close to family.

He will be remembered for his dedication to his family, his strength, and the life he built across continents."
