Life story

" Victor Henry Hughes of Stafford County, Virginia passed away on Sunday, April 5, 2026. Mr. Hughes was born in Roxboro, North Carolina on October 14, 1955, to Vincent Luther Hughes and Elsie Louise Swanson.

Mr. Hughes married Rinchen L Hughes in 1999, and the family lived in Stafford County, VA for nearly 30 years. As a master electrician, Mr. Hughes' career took him around the world as he supported multiple US Government missions and locations, often serving in dangerous and hostile situations. Upon retirement he was able to spend time at home with his wife and twin children.

Mr. Hughes is survived by his wife, Rinchen; son, Vincentla King Hughes; and daughter, Victoriala Queen Hughes, of Stafford County. In addition, he is survived by his sister, Ellen Lunsford and family, Lisa Moore and family, the Lowery Family and the Tatum Family.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 18, 2026 at Grace United Methodist Church, 13056 Elk Ridge Road, Fredericksburg, VA 22406, with a reception to follow in the Grace Fellowship Hall.
