Life story

"David McDaniel, born January 25, 1967, of Springfield, Virginia, passed away peacefully on March 9, 2026. He was a hardworking and dedicated man who spent much of his career in concrete and asphalt, taking pride in the work he did with his hands.
David had a vibrant personality and a love for life’s simple joys. He enjoyed playing darts, singing karaoke, and sharing his passion for football by coaching and mentoring others. He was someone who brought energy, laughter, and encouragement to those around him.
He was preceded in death by his father, Webster McDaniel.
David is survived by his loving mother, Karen McDaniel; his sister, Kathryn Hamn, and brother-in-law, James Hamn; his nieces, Mariah Hamn and Whitney Hamn; his nephew, Zachary Hamn; and his great-niece, Aubree Hamn. He will be deeply missed by his family and all who knew him.
David will be laid to rest in Bealeton, where he will remain close to his family."
