"Lorraine May Hammock, 74, of Brooklyn, New York passed away unexpectedly February 21st in Winter Haven, Florida.
Lorraine devoted 27 years of her career to Lipson Pain Institute, where she was a valued and trusted employee. She built lasting relationships with those she worked alongside, and was a dear friend to Dr. Anna Lipson, April Neal, and Jill Wynn. Her commitment, warmth, and genuine care for others made her not only an exceptional colleague, but also a cherished friend.
Outside of her work, Lorraine treasured the deep bond she shared with her best friend, Gail Roberts. She also had many friends who loved her dearly and will carry her memory with them always.
Lorraine will be remembered for her kindness, her dedication, and the meaningful connections she created throughout her life. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
Lorraine was predeceased by her parents Howard R. Trent Sr. and Alice E. Trent, brothers Howard R. Trent Jr. and Jerry Lee Trent, and sisters Darlene (Trent) Kinning; Janet (Trent) Jenkins; and nephew Robert C. Kinning. She is survived by her son George L. Hammock V and sister Donna (Trent) McDowell; her nieces and nephews Delores (Trent) Wheeler and Susan (Trent) Collins; Christy Spence; James McDowell Jr.; April Williams; Steven McDowell; Jenni Gipson; Lucy Mingloski; Teresa Folk; and her great nieces and nephews Trent, Desiree, Autumn, Faith, Erin, Lila, Brooke, Mia, Avery, Kinsley, Jace, Leland, Roman, Silus, Logan, and Gage.
