Life story

"Donnie grew up primarily in Warren county Virginia, and graduated in 1961 from John S. Mosby Academy in Front Royal . Following high school, he worked in construction alongside his dad and purchased his first dump truck in 1972, beginning a 40 year career in trucking before his retirement.
He was an avid reader, especially western novels. He enjoyed evening walks in Arlington and visiting with all the neighborhood dogs. Donnie loved his family and friends deeply. Known affectionately as "Uncle Donnie " to many, he never minded whether the children were truly his nieces and nephews _he treated them all as his own. "
