"Dan Weymouth, 68, of Ishpeming, Michigan, passed away on March 24, 2026. Born on March 3, 1958, in Detroit, Michigan, Dan was the son of Dilbert and Donna Weymouth. He spent his early years in Detroit until the age of 13 when his family relocated to Marquette following his father’s career opportunity.

At the age of 24, Dan demonstrated his entrepreneurial spirit by founding his own awning and siding company. His dedication and hard work in this venture left a lasting mark on the community he served. Dan had a passion for working on houses and took great pride in his craftsmanship.

Dan cherished life in northern Michigan and found joy in its great outdoors. Whether it was exploring nature or simply enjoying the serenity of the region, he embraced all that Michigan had to offer. He also loved visiting casinos and was known for being an incredible cook, delighting those around him with his culinary talents.

Dan is survived by his life partner of 15 years, Debbie Swanson; her child Tammy Swanson; her grandson Oliver; and Richie, whom Dan lovingly raised as his own since birth. He is also survived by his children Jeremy Lambert, Cassandra Lambert, Joey Scopacasa, Danny Jr. Weymouth, and Bobbie Weymouth.

Dan will be reunited with his beloved parents—his mother, who passed away just last year, and his father, who preceded him in death in 2015.

Dan’s memory will live on through the lives he touched and the legacy he built. May those who knew him find comfort in their memories of him during this time of loss. "
