Life story

" Carolyn Faye Limerick Hill (77) went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday March 10, 2026.
Carolyn was born Aug 8,1948 to Linwood Harrison Limerick and Pauline Kirtley (Limerick) Curtis. She lost her dad just before her third birthday. Pauline later remarried Roy Lee Curtis, who always treated her as his own, even before they were married. They blessed her with two sisters, Patricia Lee (Massey) and Paula Rae (Self), and an older step-brother, Lee Roy Curtis.
Carolyn married James R Hill, the love of her life, October 21, 1967. They raised three children, Richard, Bonnie Sue, and David Lee.
She had a “sunny” personality, a little(lot of) sass, and a way to make people laugh. She had a great love for animals especially cats, and her little dog, Buddy. She loved doing crafts, sewing and scrapbooking. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, and talking with her friends. Before her health declined she enjoyed traveling, camping, and dancing! She would take Buddy with her as often as possible. She loved going to church and her church family.
Carolyn is proceeded in death by her parents, her step-brother and her little dog Buddy.
She is survived by her husband of 58 years James R Hill, her children; Richard G Hill, Bonnie H Cope (Brian Cope), and David L Hill (Kylee Hill). Fourteen grandchildren; Brandy Hill, Kelsey Foster, Logan Hill, Elizabeth Cope, Marilyn Cope, James L Hill, Savannah Hill, David L Hill II, Richard James (RJ) Hill, Lilly Hill, Hunter Hill, Harley Jo Hill, Mercy Hill, and Micah Hill. One great grandchild; Cruize Hill. Her sisters Patricia Massey and Paula Self (Marion), and her many nieces and nephews, two uncles, an aunt and many cousins. And her best friends, Linda Atkinson, Shirley Wilson and Darlene Jenkins.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Sylvania Heights Baptist Church, on Saturday April 11,2026, Family visitation 11am - 12pm, Service at 12pm"
