Life story

" Shirley May Hall, 91, of Culpeper, VA passed away Friday, March 6, 2026 at Culpeper Hospital. She was born October 19, 1934 in Washington, DC to Bryan Lee and Mattie May Corbin.

Shirley loved her family more than anything. She also loved cats, dancing, Elvis Presley and watching Family Feud. Those that knew her would agree that she would give you the shirt off of her back. She definitely had a heart of gold and will be missed by many.

Shirley is survived by her daughter, Debbie Timbers (Lacy) of Culpeper; her grandchildren, Christy Miller (Michael Hoffman) of Locust Grove, Carrie Gallahan (Lee) of Front Royal; Emily Regensburg (Matt) of Richmond, Molly Roe (Gavin) of Roanoke, and Earl Settle of Richmond; great grandchildren, Jeffrey Bowers, Ashley Wood (Jared), Kayla Bowers (Daniel), Amanda Lucas (Isaiah), Alyssa Miller, Faith Miller, Zoey Regensburg, and Noah Regensburg; great-great grandchildren, Bryson, Zayn, and Rumani Huggins, and Rhyatt Bowers; special cousin, Virgil Corbin; daughter-in-law, Gerry Settle; and granddaughter-in-law, Mary Ellen Bowers.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Bryan Settle; grandson, Jeff Bowers; and her siblings, Bryan Lee Corbin, Jr. and Delilah Lamar. "
