Life story

" Timothy Keith Costello, 43, of Winchester Virginia went home to be with his mother, Susan Jane Mitchem and his grandmother, Stella Florence Cooper on February 27th, 2026. Timothy was an avid Tampa Bay Buccaneers and NASCAR fan. He also enjoyed doing mechanic work and playing cards. Timothy leaves behind three children to cherish his memory: Taylor Jade Costello, Timothy Keith Costello Jr., and Serenity Jade Costello. He also leaves behind his father, Everett Mitchem (Ann), his siblings, Melissa Costello Orndorff, James Costello Jr., and Rebecca Hansen, a paternal aunt, JoAnn Dillon, and his lifelong partner, Nicole Mitchell. Timothy also leaves behind a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends who all loved him dearly. He will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew him. The impact he made on those around him will be everlasting.
Memorial service will be held on April 12th, 2026 at the Super Value Inn Fredericksburg, in the breakfast room. The service will be from 4-6 PM. In lieu of flowers, please send donations in Timothy’s name to the Thurman Brisben Homeless Shelter or the Oxford House.
