It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Kenneth Edward Blackmon.

Ken, 75, of Littlefield, AZ, passed away peacefully on February 27, 2026. There will be a celebration of life service that will take place upon the completion of his final act of service to the University of Arizona.

Born in Florence Colorado, Ken grew up in Sublette County Wyoming, residing in Daniel with parents Dean and Georgia Blackmon as well as his sister Judy. He graduated from high school in Pinedale Wyoming in 1968.

From 1968 to 1972, Ken was a proud member of the United States Navy, as a Petty Officer 3rd class, he served as a SeaBee during the Vietnam war.

After his exit from the Military, he spent over 30 years serving his communities as an Emergency Services Provider. His time as a Deputy Sherriff, and State Trooper gave him as much purpose in life, as serving in the Emergency Medical, Fire, and HazMat fields. Later, he would work as a contract Medic in Alaska.

Ken then semi-retired to Arizona, running a movie theatre in Mesquite Nevada, and assisted in the running of an RV Park in Littlefield Arizona. He touched the many lives of those he worked and connected with.

Ken was preceded in death by his Parents Dean and Georgia Blackmon. He is survived by his sister Judy Jackson, Children Tammy, Charles, Marian, Shane, Merideth, Grandchildren Kiera, Sonja, Jaxon, Clarissa, Makayla, Gabrella and Samantha, as well as Great Grandchildren Anthony, Bryan, and Melody.
