" Ester Elizabeth was born April 15, 1956 in Austin Texas to Gilberto and Maria Mejia. She was the oldest of 4 children.

She was a 1975 Graduate of David W. Carter High School in Dallas Texas, graduating with Honors.

Ester was the oldest grandchild and was very loved.

Ester's hobbies included gardening, arranging flowers, drawing and painting. Loved crafts and cooking.

Ester was a whiz at numbers, working as an accountant for 50 years most recently at Northwood Club in Dallas Texas. Whenever you needed help with homework, Ester was your go to girl!

Ester had 2 god daughters, Teresa Ochoa Reese and Valerie Benish, as she was known to them as Nina!!

Ester also had 3 special furry friends, Sienna, Skamper and Sugar.

Ester Elizabeth was predeceased by her parents, Gilberto C. Mejia and Maria O. Mejia. She is survived by her sisters Rosemary Mejia, Christine Mejia, brother Ricardo Mejia, and sister in law Kelly Gaudreau.

Ester had a lot of friends she held close, Vic Roane, her best friend of over 30 years. Also Karen and Bailey Schloer

. And her Carter High School gals she would meet up with for dinners and vacations
