Life story

" Neil began his working life as a miner helping build what would become the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority system, contributing to the foundation of a city he would proudly call home. Through dedication and determination, he later joined the prestigious Watergate Hotel in Washington, D.C., where he worked as a bellman. There, his warm personality and professionalism allowed him to welcome and assist countless guests, including many notable and distinguished figures throughout his career. He finished his career with Northern Virginia Drilling, where he found not just meaningful work, but lifelong friendships and a team that truly felt like family.

He was blessed to share 34 years of marriage with his beloved wife. He was also a proud and loving father to his daughter, whom he cherished deeply.

He enjoyed working out at the gym, taking pride in his discipline and determination, and found freedom on the open road riding his motorcycle. He especially loved traveling to Nags Head, where the beach brought him peace and joy. With dedication and vision, he spent many years clearing his own property by hand before building the home and garage that became a source of great pride.

Most recently, he dedicated his life to the Lord, embracing his faith with sincerity and devotion. His commitment brought him peace and comfort, and he carried that renewed faith with quiet strength. Above all, he cherished time spent with his grandchildren, creating memories. "
