" Patrick Stephen Link, long time resident of Gretna Louisiana passed away January 26th 2026. Patrick joined the Marine Corps in 1972 at the age of 17, and served a 1 year tour in Okinawa Japan, he was Honorably discharged in 1975. Patrick is survived by his son, Stephen link along with his fiancée Erica Sims, Grandson Syrus Link and his siblings Mary Lu, Johnny, Kathryn, Dennis and Jean. He is preceded in death by his Mother Lucille Link, Father John Henry Link and his Brother David Link. Patrick was laid to rest at the Southeast Louisiana Veterans Cemetery on February 4th 2026. "
