Life story

"Roger Nicks was a beloved devoted
husband, father, brother, grandfather, great grandfather, friend and hard
worker. He loved to spend his time with
family and riding his horses. He was
dedicated to his career as a construction
worker for 35 years. He loved to barbecue
on the weekends and enjoy life. Roger was
a pillar to the community, he was always
there to lend a helping hand to anyone
who needed it. He was one of the best. Roger leaves to cherish his beloved wife Lillie Mae Nicks, three sisters and one brother, Elizabeth, Maxine, Betty and Jimmy Nicks all of Forest Ms. Mother Margie Nicks, Father Lee Nicks and bother Darren Nicks proceeding him in death. Roger also leaves to cherish three beautiful daughters Jackie Patrick of Chicago, Illinois, O’Shea Harris(Calvin Harris) of Forest, Ms., and Bridgette Crump(Dave Crump) of Grand Prairie, TX. He also leaves to charity one son Timothy Hawkins(Amanda Hawkins) of Forest, Ms. A host of grandchildren and great grandchildren with one grandchild Shayla Patrick proceeding him on death."
