Life story
" In Loving Mem-Moo-Ry of Beth Phelps
With full hearts we announce the passing of a truly one of a kind woman - a loving wife, sister, mother, and grandmother, and lifelong enthusiast of all things cow themed. Surrounded by her family, she passed peacefully on February 3, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and an impressive collection of bovine décor that will forever remind us of her joyful spirit.
She is lovingly remembered by her husband, Dennis, her brothers Matt and Tim, her children Jen, Jim, Adam, and Sam, her grandbabies Alex, Charlee, and Astrid, and all her nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Anyone who knew her inevitably carries a piece of her vibrant warmth and unshakable kindness. With her vivacious personality and talent for sarcasm, she had a remarkable way of putting you at ease, in your place, or both, depending on what you needed at the time.
Her love of cows was more than a quirky hobby; it was a symbol of how she embraced life. She taught us all that happiness doesn’t need to be complicated, and that a little humor can brighten even the hardest days.
Though we will miss her deeply, we take comfort knowing she’s at peace. Her life was a gift to us all, and her memory will continue to make us smile, just the way she’d want it to.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Cornerstone Foundation in Rockville or to the Hole in the Wall Gang. A celebration of life will be held later in the spring.
