Life story

" Diane was born on October 31, 1948, to Wilton E. and Mary F. (Rogers) Hasse. Diane began working as a keypunch operator in Chicago, IL, and later as a computer operator at Edwards AFB, CA. It was at Edwards that she met her husband, Terry. They married on April 27, 1985. They lived in Quartz Hill and later in Rosamond, CA, where they raised their two sons, Shawn (from Diane’s previous marriage) and Daniel. In 2002, Terry’s work brought them to Arlington, VA, where they made their home in Fredericksburg, VA. Her favorite hobby was making greeting cards, which brought her great joy, especially knowing that others enjoyed the art, creativity, and love she shared with them.

Diane is survived by her husband, Terry, and sons Shawn Pearson and his wife, Nadia Alvarado, from Carpentersville, IL, and Daniel Miller and his wife, Alesia (Frederick), from Crestview, FL. She is also survived by two grandsons, Trenton and Eli Miller, and one granddaughter, Emerson Miller, all of Crestview, FL, her three brothers, David Hasse from Yerlington, NV, Edward Hasse from Chicago, IL, and Richard Hasse from North Riverside, IL.
