" Gary Gilbert Schultze, 67, passed away at home
surrounded by family on April 14, 2025. He was the fourth of five children born to Gene and Rosalie Schultze on February 13, 1958 in San Antonio, Texas.
Gary worked in construction for over 30 years and was known for his strong work ethic and love for outdoors. He especially enjoyed spending time with family, being at the lake or sitting around a fire with a cold “Pearl” beer in his hand. He had an extraordinary memory and a love of history, often impressing others
with the depth of his knowledge and stories.
He is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Susan Schultze; his 4 children: Eric Schultze, Matthew Schultze (Allison), Kimberly Fatheree (Michael), and Eugene Schultze; and his 6 grandchildren: Breleigh(17), Brett(15), Madalynn (13), Mallory(12),
Ethan (10), and Logan (6).
Gary was preceded in death by his parents, Gene and Rosalie Schultze as well as his brother, David Schultze.
He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew him.
And he said to him, “Truly, I say to you, today you will be with me in Paradise.”
