Life story

" Paul D. Lavoie, age 75 of Sumerduck, VA, went to be with the Lord on January 6, 2026.
Paul was born on May 5, 1950, in Fitchburg, Massachusetts. Paul worked in
construction all of his adult life. He owned and operated a plumbing and heating
business until his retirement in 2019 as a Master Plumber.
Paul is survived by his wife of 55 years, Shirley Lavoie, and one son, Mark Lavoie (Jill).
Additional survivors are siblings Cathy Ennis, Susan Donahue (Don), Mary Lavoie,
Trisha Roch, John Lavoie (Judy), David Lavoie (Rhonda), Bernard Lavoie (Tina) and
numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
Paul is preceded in death by his parents, Leonard L. Lavoie and Theresa R. Lavoie and
a brother, Leonard R. Lavoie.
Funeral services will be held at Sumerduck Baptist Church on January 15, 2026, at
11:00 a.m."
