Life story

"Carol Ann Tanner was born in Scranton, PA to Joseph Kazalyn Sr and Betty Munson on December 1, 1950. In 1989 she met the love of her life, David Tanner and they were married that same year. Carol and David were absolutely inseparable, so much so that he preceded her in death by just 7 short weeks. David Edward Tanner returned home to his Heavenly Father on September 22, 2025 and Carol joined him to live on for eternity on November 11, 2025. Together they are survived by 4 children, Raymond, Jeremy, Jason and Jayme. 9 grand children: Alexis, Kennedi, Blythe, Reagan, Maddalyn, Trenton, Megan, Logan and Cadence. As well as 7 great grand children: Brody, Weston, Kashton, Eleanor, Magnolia, River and Charlotte. Their family was their absolute life and they were the greatest examples of love and service. They were the best brother & sister, aunt & uncle, brother-in-law & sister-in-law. But their most cherished titles were that of Nana & Papa."
