Life story
"Rita would like to be remembered most for the 47 years that she spent in Hyde Park, NY. She was very artistic and took full advantage of her proximity to NYC, traveling on the train with her art class to museums and art galleries. She also had a passion for sewing, knitting, and quilting. In fact, around Hyde Park, she was known as the 'Quilt Lady'. She started her own business, known as 'Hilliard House', and along with her husband, designed many wooden and quilted products for sale.
She was also a very devoted member of Regina Coeli Church.
In 2013, Rita moved to Springfield MA, to be close to family and there she lived out the rest of her life."
