Life story
" Paul Joseph Salvado peacefully departed this life on November 28th, 2025, surrounded by his loving family members after a brief fight with cancer. Paul was born on March 24th, 1950, in Lodi, New Jersey. He would go on to receive his diploma from Roxbury High School in 1968.
Paul was married to his longtime high school sweetheart, Janet (Wilson) Salvado, for 27 years. Although having no children, Paul embraced Richard Lewis and Laurie (Lewis) Jaworski as if they were his own. After spending some time in New Jersey, Paul and Janet moved to Fredericksburg, Virginia, to be closer to their grandchildren.
Paul owned his own construction and “handyman” business, "Just Painted LLC.” Paul was known throughout the Stafford and Fredericksburg area for providing timely and quality work for all that he served. In Paul’s free time he enjoyed listening to music, watching NASCAR, talking politics, and playing with his dogs Pye, Sally, and Johnny.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Janet (Wilson) Salvado; his children, Richard Lewis and Laurie (Lewis) Jaworski; his grandchildren, Jason Jaworski and his wife Brianna, Savanna Jaworski and her significant other Andrew Diamond, Ashley Lewis, and Kaitlyn Lewis; his great-grandchildren, Connor Jaworski (son of Jason and Brianna) and Carson Diamond (son of Savanna and Andrew); and his sister Ellen. "He was known at the radio station as "Jersey Paul". He was our go to guy for all sorts of projects at the office and many of our homes. I enjoyed Paul so much and will miss our golf and political conversations. My heart aches for Janet and the family. I will miss my friend. Rest easy Jersey !”
