"Cynthia Cuthbertson Moore worked nursing for 40 years, included Lakin State Hospital in Lakin, Wv for 19 years. Broughton State Hospital, Morganton, Nc for 9 years. Then to return to Pageton, Wv and eventually going back to work at Welch Emergency Hospital for another 4 years. Continuing into her retirement, she was a private caregiver to Mr. And Mrs Lacy of Roderfield, Wv for another 10 years. She was a people person and never met a stranger. In her younger years she was a Softball player and State MVP Of the State of West Virginia several years in a row. She was a Bowler in North Carolina and West Virginia, her scores averaged 300 pts. almost every game. Also was Campaigning with her Lifetime Beat Friend Delphine Starling for Former Governor Jay Rockefeller at most of his elections. Mrs. Moore was an avid driver who was always on the go whether it was going to church to Praise The Lord or Shopping with her sisters of the church Mt. Calvary Baptist Church. Always loved her Family especially her Nephews and Nieces, visiting her sister in Cleveland, (OKAY ALRIGHT SISTER) Katherine. She was Loved by her community of friends who were all very fond of her. The Love she had for her Family was immensely special no words could describe. "
