Life story

" Janet Southall, 77, of King George, Va., departed this life on November 1, 2025. She was a doting and devoted mother to Gail Southall, and Norma Jean Southall. Janet was widow of Charles P. Southall, also formerly of King George.

Janet is preceded in death by her parents, Jesse Rice and Dorothy Rice. She follows her siblings, Herbert Marshal Rice, Ray Mason Rice, Donald Rice, and Jacqueline Ellyson into heaven. She is survived by her sister, Delene Gray; and a host of nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held on November 16, 2025, at 2 p.m. at Tabernacle Baptist Church in King George, Va."
