Life story

" Rita Cypher, age 82, was born on October 16, 1943, and passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on October 23, 2025.

Rita was a devoted Christian whose faith guided every part of her life. She found great joy in tending to her yard and took pride in mowing her own lawn. She loved to travel, and some of her happiest moments were spent at her lake house, reading her Bible while taking in the sun. Rita also loved to bake during the holidays, filling her home with warmth and the aroma of her favorite cookies/pies.

Family was at the heart of everything she did, and she cherished every moment spent with her loved ones. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Stephen Cypher, and is survived by her children Stephen Jr. (wife Vangie), Kimberly Kelley, and Ashley McCarthy (husband Clete); her grandchildren Casey, Tyler, Daniel, Stephen III, Brandon and Declan and three great-grandchildren.

Rita’s love, kindness, and strength will be deeply missed by all who knew her. "
