Life story

" Sharon found peace with the Lord on Sunday October 19th, 2025.
She was united in marriage on July 10, 1959, to Billy Joe McKnight.
She was proceeded in death by her husband Billy Joe McKnight, parents Lloyd and Jane Layher, her brother Larry (Margaret) Layher, sister Jean Ingraham, sister Robyn (Doug) Holmburg, and daughter Cyndi Clark.
Sharon is survived by her loving children, Greg (Janet) McKnight, Lorry (Tony) Harding, eight grandchildren, Tara, Brett, Billy, Brandon, Robert, Allen, Sharon, Douglas (DJ), and fourteen great grandchildren, Bailee, Emilee, Kailee, Jacob, Khloe, Henry, Christian, Shoshanna, Archie, Gideon, Logan, Landon, Allyssa, and Ethan.
They raised 3 wonderful children while traveling across the United States. In 1971 They Settled in St Petersburg FL. She retired from Southern Supply (scissor factory) in 2008.
She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was an avid reader and loved traveling, puzzling and watching westerns.
She will be remembered for always taking care of others.
