Life story

"Barbara Jean Wines, 83, passed away peacefully on September 30, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. Born on May 14, 1942 in Warrenton, Virginia. Barbara dedicated her life to creating a wonderful home with her husband of 66 years, Bob, and their four children.

Barbara enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She loved baking pies, cakes, and cookies for Bob and all her grandchildren. Barbara loved her flowers and took great pride in nurturing them.

Barbara spent 30 years working side by side with her husband Bob in their small engine repair shop. She loved learning new things and being able to repair any equipment that came into the shop.

She is survived by her husband Bob, children Robert, Michael, Donna, and Kimberly. She had ten grandchildren and six great grandchildren. A private memorial service will be held for the family. In lieu of flowers or donations may be made to the American Cancer Society. "
