"Obituary: Linda Romick Lewis, 76
BETHANY, OKLAHOMALinda Romick Lewis, a dedicated accountant whose heart belonged to the stable, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 11, 2025, at The Grand at Bethany Skilled Nursing and Therapy in Bethany, Oklahoma. She was 76.
Linda was born on November 1, 1948, in O'hau, Hawaii. Though her birthplace instilled in her a lifelong love for the tranquility of the islands, she dedicated her professional life to the precision and organization of accounting.
However, Linda's true passion was found in the company of horses. She possessed a rare and extraordinary gift for equine communication, often referred to by those who witnessed her work as a true horse whisperer. Linda had an intuitive touch and quiet demeanor that earned the animals' complete trust, allowing her to make them respond willingly to her gentle guidance. Her dedication to these noble creatures was a deep source of joy, purpose, and a testament to her unique, compassionate spirit.
Linda's late husband Monte Montgomery passed away 5 years ago. She was a cherished mother to Billy Joe Montgomery and a proud grandmother to Shannon Montgomery and Madison Begin.
She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Bruce and Eleanor Romick.
A memorial service will be held in honor of Lindas life on October 20th 2025 at the Rose Garden at 2:00 p.m."
