Life story

" Eleonore "Ellie" Brodersen Rock was such a beautiful, kind, loving, gentle soul. She loved her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren so much. Born in Chicago Illinois. She had homes over the years in Germany, Winter Haven, FL, Warsaw, VA, Orange, VA, Dunedin, FL and Culpeper, VA. She was a wonderful Mom, the kind of Mom every kid wanted. She was always her childrens' biggest fan and encourager. She always welcomed the neighborhood children into her home and treated them like they were family. making sure everyone had snacks and drinks. For years in the 1970's she was a Cub Scout leader and a Girl Scout leader. She was an animal lover and longtime member of the Humane Society. She is happy now in heaven reunited with all the beloved dogs and cats that she had over the years. "
