Life story

" Nora Wanda Sychra (née Pazola), beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on August 18, 2025, surrounded by family after a brief battle with cancer.

She is survived by daughters Danielle Sychra and Michele (Peter) Diehl; grandchildren Rachel (Spencer) Griffith and Peter Diehl; and great-grandchildren Eira and Miles. She is also survived by her sisters, Julie Enders and Pat (Peter) Zanfordino; nieces Angela, Melissa, and Vinessa; and her grandnieces and nephew. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry, and her parents, Sophie and Daniel Patterson.

Nora retired from a career in healthcare as a CNA. She will be remembered for her giving spirit, her love of animals, and her devotion to family.

The family extends their deepest gratitude to Bowling Green Health and Rehabilitation Center for their compassionate care of Nora and for their dedicated attention and service to the family during her final days.

A private family celebration of life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Nora’s memory to a local animal shelter or rescue organizations of your choice. "
