Life story

"Harlon grew up as a country boy, the youngest of eight children in middle Tennessee. After graduation he worked alongside his father at the county highway dept. He moved to Virginia in the 80's and met and married the love of his life Debbie Farmer. He worked for Atkinson Trucking for many years as a diesel mechanic where not only was the Atkinson family his boss but grew to be a second family. Harlon had a jolly spirit and generous heart and it connected him with people. This warmth, humor, and generous spirit will leave it's lasting impression on those who knew him."
