"John was a loving man cherished by many in the community from his home town in Jackson to his place of residence in Los Angeles. A Veteran of the US Army having served before being injured in combat. John married his childhood sweetheart Glenda and would spend his life helping others in the community overcome substance abuse and getting assistance for injured US veterans and other disabled individuals. There was no one in need that he wouldn’t help in anyway possible. He will be missed and remembered by many. "
