Life story

" Mrs. Dosha G. Delozier of Fredericksburg, VA passed away due to complications of vascular dementia on Saturday, May 31, 2025, at 89 years old. She was born to Lucy and Garnett Stratton in Oklahoma City, OK as the youngest of four siblings. In 1954, Dosha eloped with Darrel J. Delozier and joined him in his 20-year Air Force career. Upon retirement, Dosha and Darrel served as missionaries, operating a servicemen’s hospitality home, for US Forces in Germany. At the end of their tenure overseas they moved to Lakeland, FL, where they served with Health Care Ministries and MAPS RV Volunteers throughout the United States. Upon Darrel’s passing in 2006, Dosha moved to Virginia to be closer to her daughter Donna and family. She continued to share the love of Christ in a new local church and community. In the last 5 years of her life, she developed a passion for crocheting baby hats. Over 500 hats were donated by her to the local hospital for newborn babies.
Dosha is survived by her daughters, Donna (Charles) Fullerton of Spotsylvania, VA and Diana (David) Mohr of Highland, NY; four grandchildren, Melissa Fullerton, Jason (Rita) Fullerton, Lindsey (Luke) Olson, Emily (Jonathan) Doro and eight great grandchildren. Dosha was loved by family and friends and will be greatly missed. She will be interred in a private family service, next to her beloved husband Darrel at Arlington National Cemetery. Memorial services will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Assemblies of God World Missions (www.agwm.org) "
