Life story

" Richard was an enthusiast of science fiction, Star Trek, aliens, and the supernatural, Richard saw wonder in the unknown. Ghost stories and UFO sightings weren’t just tales — they were glimpses of possibility. He believed the universe held far more than met the eye.

Richard had a desire to make a difference in the lives of those he loved. His kindness, curiosity, and wicked sense of humor touched those who knew him.

Richard was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Elizabeth, and his brother, Gary. He is survived by his sister, Peggy, and daughter, Wendy.

He shared a close bond with the Rose and Anderson families — Jennifer, Darren, Aaron, Sonya, Nathanial, Issac, and Kaiden — who became an extension of his own family. Their love, laughter, and unwavering support meant the world to him, and he cherished every moment spent together.

Special thanks to the compassionate team at Affinity Care Hospice, who supported him through his two-year journey with unwavering care.
