Rigoberto Castillo passed away on April 1, 2025, in Santiago de María. Born on April 7, 1940, in Santa Rosa de Lima, he lived a life rooted in faith, family, and hard work.

Throughout his life, Rigoberto dedicated himself to the honest and skilled trade of artisan carpentry and coffee harvester in the mountains. His hands carved wood with care and harvested coffee with diligence, work that reflected both craftsmanship and perseverance. These vocations not only sustained him but also deeply connected him to the land and community.

A devout believer and follower of Jesus Christ, Rigoberto's faith was a guiding light throughout his journey. It shaped his values ​​and interactions with others, giving him strength in the face of life's challenges and joy in its blessings.
