Born on July 26, 1971, in Newark, Ohio, Samantha was the daughter of Gladys Moody and the late Kenneth Ray Moody Sr. From an early age, she exhibited a bold and adventurous nature that would define her life. She pursued her education in surgical technology, dedicating herself to a field that reflected her intelligence and commitment to helping others.

Samantha was known for being outspoken and outgoing—never afraid to speak her mind or stand up for what she believed in. Her kind heart and hardworking nature earned her the admiration of many throughout her life. Whether navigating professional challenges or supporting those around her, she approached every situation with determination and compassion.

She found joy in the simple pleasures of life: cheering on football games with enthusiasm, exploring the outdoors on horseback or through spontaneous adventures, and observing birds and squirrels with quiet appreciation. In quieter moments, she enjoyed binge-watching Netflix series—a pastime that brought her relaxation and laughter.

Her greatest pride came from her family. Samantha is lovingly remembered by her mother, Gladys Moody; her children Darius Hollins, Quadeja Weaver, and Kennedy Miller; and her grandchildren Dharma Collins, Ariana Pritt, Ocean Weaver, and Bronx Hollins. Her love for them was deep and enduring.
