" Cheryl Lynne Goldsmith (née Miller), 73, passed away on March 11, 2025, in Fredericksburg, Virginia. Born on April 19, 1951, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Cheryl lived a life defined by love, resilience, and an unwavering devotion to those she held dear. Cheryl was predeceased by her beloved husband, John, parents, Doris and Isadore. She is survived by her sons, Scott (Melissa) and Brett (Melanie) Goldsmith; her cherished grandchildren-Henry, Charlie, Max, Sean, and Carmen; and her partner Scott Pointon. She found happiness in simple pleasures: reading, crafting, gardening, and her pets. She treasured time spent with her children and grandchildren. Cheryl possessed a remarkable tenacity that allowed her to face every challenge with grace and determination. Her kindness and love extended beyond people to the animals she cared for so deeply. She will be profoundly missed by all whose lives she touched-both human and animal alike. For she was truly happiest when caring for others. "
