Life story
"With hearts full of love and cherished memories, we announce the passing of Manouchehr “Mike” Delshad. At 88 years old, he was born in Shiraz, Iran, and left this world peacefully on February 14th surrounded by his immediate family.
He is survived by his three daughters Dori and her husband Babak, Deana and her husband Scott, and Michelle Delshad. His two brothers Jimmy and Freddy were also by his side. His greatest loves were his grandchildren Aidan, Arica, Mia, Eli, Alex, and Misha who called him “Poppie,” a name he pridefully embraced. He will now be reunited with his first love Ada who passed 30 years earlier.
Manouchehr left Iran as a young boy, lived in Israel, then moved to the US to pursue the American dream. He was an entrepreneur, known for Kaboby, one of the first Persian restaurants, as well as other successful businesses. He lived a life filled with laughter, adventure, and endless kindness. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him. His greatest loves were time with family and playing music.
