Life story

"On January 22 2025, Jayson Faires, loving son and brother, passed away at the age of 31. While being treated for an infection, Jayson suddenly and unexpectedly went into cardiac arrest. His heart eventually and tragically gave out, breaking ours. Born in Soignies, Belgium, in 1993, Jayson was an animal lover, a sports enthusiast (along with being a huge New England Patriots and New York Yankees fan), and easily the funniest person in any room. Jayson leaves behind his parents, Jay Faires and Jody Faires (Campbell), sisters Tashua (Steve) Kurtzhals, Alissa (Jay) Nachtwey, and Brianna (Lee) Jenkins. As a big kid himself, Jayson’s nieces and nephews, Matt, Keegan, Kolton, Paisley, Ava, Gracie, and Gavin will always have fond memories of their Uncle Jayson. With countless family members and friends in Ohio and Virginia, Jayson’s memory will live on through each of us as we attempt to navigate this world without him.
