Life story
" Toni Lea Coleman (Crawford), 67, passed away unexpectedly from complications following surgery. She is survived by her siblings, Deborah Bamford, Patricia Dockery, Danny Crawford and Penny Atkins. She also leaves behind her three children; Justin Coleman (Shannon), Matthew Coleman and Courtney Estep (Kenneth) as well as many cousins, nieces, nephews, five grandchildren and two great grandchildren who will all miss her dearly.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Dorothea Crawford, her husband of 44 years, Stephen, daughter-in-law Lauren and granddaughter Lennon Grace. There is some comfort in knowing she has been reunited with them again.
Toni was born and raised in Woodbridge, Virginia and later relocated to Culpeper, Virginia. She was a homemaker and childcare provider most of her life. She enjoyed playing rummy, poker, Yahtzee, listening to 80's music and simply being surrounded by her family. Toni loved her family fiercely and they feel the deep void of no longer having her here. Her children recently discovered a song by Ed Sheeran called "Supermarket Flowers" and the beautiful lyrics remind them of her. That song will be listened to repeatedly and they will cherish all the wonderful memories made over the years.
A private celebration of life was held on November 30, 2024. The outpouring of friends and family that were able to attend on such short notice was remarkable. "
