Life story

"Darrin Zedrick Burton, 58, of Fredericksburg Virginia, passed away on December 29, 2024 .

Darrin was born on February 28, 1966 to Ruby and Clarence Burton in Washington D.C. After Darrin graduated from Mackin Catholic High School in 1984, he went on to study Business Administration at the University of the District of Columbia. Darrin also attained a Masters Degree in Human Resource Management from Bowie State University.

In 1999, Darrin met Stephani in Annapolis, MD. Darrin and Stephani went on to have three beautiful children, Brianna (Jacob), Gabrielle and Darrin Jr.

Darrin enjoyed spending time with his family, going to amusement parks and his beloved Washington Redskins (now Commanders).

Darrin was predeceased by his parents Clarence and Ruby as well as his cherished pets Yum Yum, Rufus and Keto. He is survived by the love of his life Stephani, his two daughters Brianna and Gabrielle, his only son Darrin Jr, his sister Rebecca (Gerald), brother Clarence (Junior), niece Shaneik, nephew Jeremiah and a host of friends who will miss him dearly.

A Celebration of Life will be held (date and location TBD). In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to a Go Fund Me set up on behalf of his three children.
