Life story

" It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Theresa Ann Martin, of Fredericksburg, Virginia, who left us on December 22, 2024, at the age of 88.

Theresa was born and raised in Boston, Massachusetts, where she attended parochial school for 12 years. She had a lifelong love of music that was impossible to miss. She was a proud member of the Sweet Adelines Quartet during her years in Spring Hill, Florida, and her passion for song remained vibrant throughout her life. Even in her later years, Theresa would often break into song, encouraging everyone around her to join in. A talented musician, she played the piano, guitar, and accordion. She also found joy in dinner theaters, cruises, and local stage productions, and she treasured time spent with family and friends.

Theresa was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 66 years, Robert J. Martin, who passed away on September 2, 2024. She was also predeceased by her parents, Andrew and Winifred Supple, and her brothers, Andrew Supple and Bernard Supple.

She is survived by her two daughters, Theresa Rudowski (Colin) and Robin Martin; four grandchildren, Jamie Cameron (Justin), Chase Rudowski (Kathleen), Daniel McCleese (Laura), and Brian McCleese (Amanda); and seven great-grandchildren, Owen and Austin Cameron, Callie Rudowski, and Avery, Emily, Amelia, and Natalie McCleese. Theresa is also survived by her younger brother, John Supple of Alaska.

A private service will be held at a later date."
