Life story

" Terrance James English
Terrance (Terry) James English, 70, of Spotsylvania, Virginia, passed away Sunday December 15,2024.
Terry was born March 7, 1954 to James and Joan English. Born and raised in his hometown, Buffalo, New York.
Nothing made him prouder than being a father and grandfather, Terry adored every moment that was spent in the company of his kids and grandkids. His greatest fulfillment in life was getting to hear about how well they were all doing in every aspect of their lives.
Terrance was a devoted Buffalo Bills and New York Yankees fan. He also
found great pleasure in playing golf with his sons and closest friends.
Terrance dedicated over 50 years to the food service and hospitality industry. He retired from Marshall Management Hotels and Resorts, where he ran the award-winning Hampton Inn and Suites Fredericksburg- South for 16 years. While in his astoundingly successful career, he made life long friendships that he cherished deeply.
Terrance is survived by his 3 children, Anthony English, James English, and Sara Curtis (Austin); 6 grandchildren, Shaun English, Natalie English, Bailey English, James English Jr., Trevor Curtis, and Maisyn Curtis; 4 sisters Carol Caputi, Susan Trias, Patricia Chisholm (Russell), Judy English (Lu); and brother Carl English (Elaine).
Terrance was proceeded in death by his loving mother Joan English September 21,2020 and his father James Paul English August 8, 2013.
Terry’s wishes were for a celebration of life in Buffalo, New York, surrounded by his children and immediate family. Terry will be laid to rest with his father in April of 2025.
