"Dave and I met 27 years ago at a Blackhawk Farms Raceway in Beloit Wisconsin. Dave was a Steward in Midwestern Council of Sports Car Clubs. He worked at Gilman as an Engineer for 20 years here in Janesville. We had been dating for the last 7 years. He had just asked me 3 weeks ago to marry him. We were planning on telling our family’s over Christmas. We had our first date in Lake Geneva, Wi on my birthday August 21 in 2017 to see the solar eclipse…. He taught me how to live and love again! We had a strong relationship since. He was enjoying his new life with me and my family accepted him and liked him. Especially my Grandson Leo! They were inseparable! We planned on getting married on my Birthday next year. "
