Life story

"Jacqueline, Beverly, was born to John Washington Beverly and Dorothy McDonald, December 7, 1937. Harlem New York attended school at PS#90 and graduated from Central Needle Trades.

Jackie was married to Gerald Downs but later divorced.

She raised five children as a single mother but had the support of her village (Betty, Ruth Joann, & Ethel) and family while working as an executive secretary for Carrier where she later retired after 20 years of service.

Jackie lived by the example there is a time for work but there is also a time to party and she lived her life to the fullest extent possible.

Jackie has transcended from this earthly plain to one where she will forever be our spiritual guardian. "
