Life story
" On October 5th, 2024, the extraordinary Roxanne Lee Pridemore passed away peacefully in her sleep, surrounded by her loving family in the comfort of her own home. She was a devoted wife/mother, adoring grandmother/great-grandmother and a dear friend.
In her youth, she found the love of her life her husband, Larry Pridemore. Together, they were blessed with three beautiful children - Shannon Pridemore, Angela Pridemore, and Larry Jr Pridemore. Embracing motherhood with admirable pride, she blossomed, making her children the center of her world. The birth of her 8 grandchildren, Deztinee Pridemore, Deziree Bakker, Isaac Lewis, Preston Lewis, Dylan Pridemore, J'Cienoa Cavanaugh, Chase Pridemore and Savannah Pridemore greatly expanded the joy and fulfillment in her life. This amazing woman would stop at nothing to care for her family. She warmly welcomed her daughter-in-law, Melody Pridemore, embracing her as one of her own. As the two families merged, they grew ever closer, becoming one. Over the years, she also grew increasingly close with Janie Allbritton. She truly cherished every moment spent with her loved ones.
She indulged a variety of hobbies and relished opportunities to have fun. She thoroughly enjoyed playing bingo, visiting the casino, shopping, and cooking. Spending quality time with her during a game of bingo, or playing slots at the casino felt like hitting the jackpot. The aroma of her constant cooking in the kitchen filled the entire house with a mouthwatering scent. She pursued everything with passion.
You were truly fortunate to have known her. Her presence radiated love and compassion, uplifting all who were in her company. She always showed kindness and warmth. She was an remarkable woman whose passing will be deeply mourned.
"I saw a Cardinal in my tree,
As I watched it flitter about with grace.
Visitors from Heaven they are said to be,
I feel blessed that you came to visit me.
A Messenger to tell you,
we're never far apart.
My spirit will live on forever,
there within your heart." "
