Life story

" Marcus D. Coleman passed on October 18,2024. He was the oldest son and second child of Joseph & Deborah Coleman. He was born at the Columbia Hospital for Women in Washington D.C. on December 27th, 1974.
He grew up in South East D.C., and graduated from Eastern High School in 1994.
Marcus never married but was the proud father of Kortez M. Calloway and grandfather of Kingsley Calloway.
He enjoyed playing video games, chess, and football. His favorite football team was the Philadelphia Eagles!
Marcus was a hard worker and had experiences with many jobs. Among his many jobs were Giant Foods, Food Lion, CVS, NFL Credit Union, TA, the Free Lance Star and Amazon. His favorite job was delivering packages for Amazon.
Marcus will live on through the memories and lives of his son, Kortez Calloway, grandson, Kingsley Calloway, mother & father, Deborah & Joseph Coleman, grandmother, Ada Clinton, his brother Steven Coleman (Shayla ). Six uncles: Gregory (Chris), John (Denise), Kenny, Walter (Gloria), Ervin (Colleen) and Prophet (Jerrita). Six aunts: Katrina, Nadine, Renee, Sandra, Arterita (Joe), and Charity.
First Cousins: Greg, Jason, Jasmine, Shaune, Chanee, Felicia, Ericka, Damietta, Gilbert, Lionel, Kayla, Delano, Micha, Dornita, Viola, Joseph Jr., Cathy, Angela, Penny, Karen, Jerod, Timothy, Patrice, Carol, FaFa, Walter Jr., & Shermeka.
One nephew, Stephon M. Coleman.
