Nancy A. Woods passed away peacefully on the morning of Tuesday, September 3, 2024 with the love of her family surrounding her.

Nancy was born in Pittsfield MA on October 30, 1946. She grew up in Leyden MA and Graduated from Pioneer Valley Regional High School class of 1964. After High School, she attended cosmology school and worked as a hair dresser. She then spent many years in the Hospitality industry as a server, which she loved doing. She ended her working career at Yankee Candle in South Deerfield MA.

Nancy was strong, hard working, adventurous, kind, giving and had many passions in Life. She was an amazing Gardner, florist , cook, decorator and party planner. Nancy knew how to throw one hell of a party!. She enjoyed spending her free time out in the country, surrounded by nature and was very compassionate about animals.

Nancy leaves behind two children that she was most proud of. Her beloved Son John
Woods, a successful business owner, and Granddaughter’s, Hayden and Hadley, all of Greenfield, Ma. And her Beautiful daughter Kristina Woods, a Compassionate Registered Nurse, and her Grandson Quinn Woods both of Greenfield, Ma.
She will also be sadly missed by her life partner Bill Gaida from Orange MA whom she loved dearly, as well as, numerous extended family members and friends.

A Celebration of Nancy’s Life will be held on Wednesday, October 30th, 2024 from 5-9 PM at Smitty’s Pub on 26 Chapman St. in Greenfield MA. Come join us for a toast to Nancy!"
