"Leroy Anthony Reed departed this life on September 3, 2024. Leroy was born on January 9, 1932 in New Orleans, LA to late Mose, Sr., and Elvira Reed. He is survived by his wife, Cynthia Reed; siblings, Joyce Seals, Mose Reed Jr., and Katherine Magee; children, Louis Joseph, Dolores Joseph, Earl Augustine(Malia), Fay Thompson(Burnell), Sharon Arceneaux A host of grandchildren, Nieces and nephews, cousins and friends who loved him dearly.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Mose Reed Sr. and Elvira Reed, his first wife Shirley E. Reed, children; Daniel "Danny" Reed Elaine Bartholomew, Roy Joseph, Loretta Joseph and Leroy Reed Jr. his siblings, Henry Reed Sr., Elvira Jackson, and Helen Hunter.
