"Ronald Anthony McDowell, known affectionately as Ron, was born on April 18, 1958, in Mobile, Alabama. He passed away peacefully on September 5, 2024, in Tampa, Florida.

Ron dedicated his career as a truck driver, where he was known for his reliability and commitment to his work. His journeys across the country allowed him to forge lasting friendships and experiences that he cherished throughout his life.

He is survived by his five beloved children and three grandchildren: Kimberly (daughter), Sharon (daughter), Brittany (daughter), Rachel (daughter), and Jonathan McDowell (son), who will carry on his legacy with love and fond memories. Ron is also survived by his two brothers, Kasey and Dave, who shared many cherished moments with him.

Ronald McDowell's warmth, kindness, and strong spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew him."
